Humans To Rule Over All Things

  • A consequence of scriptural promises connected with the Creation Mandate. Connects a number of scriptures into an underlying theme. Has significance in Christian history, and in formulation of Scientific Method.
  • An extrapolation of the Creation Mandate
    • In Genesis 1, God promises humanity that they will rule over all creation.
    • Psalm 8 interprets that "all" very broadly.
    • Hebrews 2 and 1 Corinthians 15 both reason that "all means all", and that this entails vast power beyond all current comprehension. Humans are to rule over all things, visible and invisible, things present and things to come.
    • This includes superpowered beings (Angels), only excluding God himself.
