October 16–18, 2026 · Woodlands Retreat · Nunnelly, Tennessee

The First Christian Transhumanist Retreat

Three days on 300 wooded acres — a lake, trails, a chapel, fire and conversation late into the night. Fewer talks, more table.

For ten years we've gathered online and on conference stages to ask one question together: what does it mean to follow Christ into the future? This fall, for the first time, we're taking that question into the woods. A retreat, not a conference — less presenting, more presence.

We'll come to embody the thing we keep pointing at — a hopeful, rational, future-facing faith — before we argue another word about it.

We work against illness, hunger, oppression, injustice, and death — and once a year, it's good to do that work shoulder to shoulder, in person, with people who see what you see.

The theme that will hold our weekend: the shape of progress is the face of Christ. Come find out what we mean.
